Malebo Ngobeni

Malebo Ngobeni is a Project Coordinator working on Project Khuluma that provides mobile phone support groups for HIV positive adolescents in South Africa. She works on a range of activities including recruiting adolescents in clinics and hospitals, facilitating the support groups, conducting workshops and interviews to evaluate the impact of our work and contributing to the successful running of our mentor programme.

She is driven by her passion for community engagement and healthcare.  She has volunteered for organisations such as Child Welfare and Kids in Action.  Previous to working at the SHM Foundation she was employed by the South African Medical Research Council and the University of Pretoria.

She has a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from the University of Pretoria and is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree at the University of South Africa.

The Foundation was set up in 2008 by Professor Maurice Biriotti and Professor Henrietta Moore, who co-founded the strategy and insight consultancy SHM Productions, based in central London, in 1996.
