Zuzana Figerova

Zuzana is Head of Development at The SHM Foundation, and particularly focuses on overseeing implementation of projects under the Zumbido Health umbrella. She has considerable experience managing complex international projects in both the private and not-for-profit sectors. She has played a critical role in the expansion of the Foundation’s work in South Africa, particularly with the Foundation’s work in setting up support groups for HIV-positive adolescents using the mobile phone.

Prior to joining SHM, Zuzana worked as a language consultant and a lecturer. Her educational background is in International Development with a Masters in International Relations.
